Seek to look beyond, understanding blooms within
We support solution-oriented organizations creating lasting change for people and planet.
Who we are
A private foundation founded by Jeff Ubben in 2020, led by the next generation of philanthropists committed to redistributing resources toward needs overlooked by government and markets.
Our values
- 01
Markets leave many behind
Transformative potential lives in local initiatives markets call unscalable.
- 02
Hands-on over optimization
Real change takes practical work, not quick fixes that solve problems with problems.
- 03
Look up and see
Civic engagement begins when we look beyond our screens to serve our community.
- 04
Live arts & culture
Look and See is about place — its preservation, restoration and the respite it gives.
- 05
Youth are tomorrow's stewards
Connecting generations through dialogue makes change last.
"You cannot damage what you are dependent upon without damaging yourself."
